Videographer and Content Creator
Role Details
Hours: Part-Time - 2 days per week.(6-month contract)
Location: Hybrid - mix of home working and on-location.
Travel: UK-wide travel required.
Salary: £25k - £32k pro rata depending on experience.
Job Description
We are looking for a creative and adaptable Part-Time Videographer to join our team at the High Performance Foundation.
You will be responsible for filming, producing and editing high-quality video and podcast content for our Game Plan models for schools, social media platforms, and wider digital channels. This includes capturing interviews, documentary-style content, behind-the-scenes footage, and storytelling pieces that reflect the mission and values of the Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
Film and edit high-quality video and audio content for Game Plan, our resources aimed at young people, used in schools and other digital learning materials such as content for our CPD podcast, The High Performance Teacher.
Capture documentary-style footage, interviews, and real-life stories for social media and other digital channels.
Work collaboratively with the team to plan and storyboard content.
Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and Foundation values.
Manage footage, file organisation, and basic post-production workflows.
Travel across the UK to film at events, schools, partner projects, and case study locations.
Stay up to date with creative trends and suggest ideas to improve content quality and engagement.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Proven experience filming and editing video content (portfolio required). Experience of photography is also desirable but not essential.
Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Ability to capture high-quality audio and video in a variety of environments.
Creative storytelling skills and an eye for detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects as well as work with young people.
Desirable:
Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Ability to adapt content formats for different audiences and platforms.
Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
