Using inspiring role models and brought to life with powerful video storytelling, Game Plan brings the life lessons of the world’s top performers to your classroom.

HOW IS GAMEPLAN DELIVERED?

Game Plan is a flexible resource, structured across three modules, and designed for delivery across tutor time, assembly or classroom lessons.

Every module includes inspiring video content with stories from celebrity role models.

This is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and set of downloadable resources such as student worksheets, discussion questions, and celebrity photo cards to support delivery.

Mindsets

The MINDSETS module equips young people with six transformational mindsets that build mental strength:

  1. Stay Positive

  2. Solve Problems

  3. Know Yourself

  4. Handle Pressure

  5. Take Responsibility 

  6. Be Collaborative

Each mindset combines to build resilience, confidence and wellbeing in students.

These resources are designed for pupils in years 7-13 or key stages 3, 4 and 5.

Employability

The EMPLOYABILITY module helps pupils to understand what motivates them, to identify their goals and develop skills needed for the workplace. 

This module covers topics such as:

  • Aiming high

  • Staying positive

  • Communication

  • Teamwork

  • Leadership

These resources are designed for pupils in key stages 4 and 5.

Transitions

The TRANSITIONS module draws on the theme of resilience to prepare students for the upcoming challenge of exams and the upcoming transition out of school or college.

Lessons cover topics such as: 

  • Dealing with worry  

  • Being more independent 

  • Recognising my success 

  • Self-esteem and failure 

  • Knowing myself

These resources are designed for pupils in key stages 4 and 5.
