IFS Partners with High Performance Foundation to support young people’s wellbeing and employability
IFS is proud to announce its role in supporting an initiative spearheaded by The High Performance Foundation to tackle the growing challenges faced by young people today.
The partnership will support the expansion of its flagship Game Plan programme, enabling a further 50,000 young people to develop the mental strength, resilience and life skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-changing world.
Using inspiring video content to bring high-performing role models into the classroom, alongside innovative learning resources, Game Plan enables young people across UK to build the skills and mindsets they need to succeed.
Game Plan is a bold response to urgent issues affecting youth across the UK. With 66% of employers reporting that young people lack essential life skills and 20% of young people persistently absent from school, the need for targeted support has never been greater.
Schools are seeing rising disengagement, with low resilience and confidence acting as key barriers to learning. Nationally, one in five young people are living with a probable mental health disorder.
Co-founded by broadcaster Jake Humphrey, The High Performance Foundation is an independent charity affiliated with the High Performance Podcast. Drawing on insights from hundreds of world-class performers, the Foundation uses storytelling and role models to help young people build the mental strength and employability skills they need to thrive.
Chloe Dannatt, CEO and Co-Founder of The High Performance Foundation, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome IFS as a partner in expanding Game Plan. Their commitment to innovation and creating positive impact aligns closely with our mission to equip young people with the mental strength, resilience and life skills they need to thrive.
Together, we have an incredible opportunity to reach thousands more young people, including those in some of the most disadvantaged areas.”
Stephanie Poore, Managing Director, Europe West at IFS, added:
“Young people face real challenges today, and we’re proud to support Game Plan in helping them build the resilience and skills that matter. At IFS, we understand the value of mental strength and adaptability. Investing in the next generation is essential for building a stronger workforce and healthier communities.”
To date, the Foundation has supported more than 50,000 young people and aims to reach 1 million by 2030. Game Plan is a free, high-impact resource that brings the life lessons of elite performers into classrooms, helping students grow resilience, wellbeing, and confidence.
